Ask for an itemised quote before comparing the total price. A service payment does not buy an immigration decision.

Travel This Year’s assistance is quoted separately. Family rules, exemptions and other costs may affect your total. Confirm the current IRCC fee list before paying.
Start with three separate totals
A quote for application support is only one part of a trip budget. Keep three columns: the assistance you are buying, charges from official or third-party providers, and the travel itself. This makes it easier to compare quotes that look similar but include different work.
Write down who receives each payment
Ask for the service charge and its currency in writing. Then list any official application or biometrics charges that apply to you. Add other preparation costs only if they are relevant, such as translation, a medical examination or obtaining a document. Ask which organisation receives each payment and what receipt you should expect.
Keep travel spending in a different column
Accommodation, flights, insurance and day-to-day spending are different from the fee for preparing an application. A school deposit or tuition payment belongs to a study budget, not a visitor-application package. Avoid paying for a costly travel arrangement simply because a service quote has been accepted.
Use this quote checklist
Before deciding, ask: What tasks are included? Which currency is used? Which charges are additional? When is each payment due? Who carries out the work? What are the cancellation or refund terms? Does the price cover the application stage I am actually at? Save the written answers alongside the quote.
Prepare your first enquiry, not your whole financial file
You can start with the purpose of your visit and approximate timing. You do not need to send bank statements or passport numbers through the public website. A sensible first conversation should establish the service scope and the next secure step for any documents.
